so no explaination from knowledge bowl? It looks like hit n run accident on the road man.... Integrity? or No Integrity?

Where's the reply by KB? I don't seem to see it in this thread.

I think most of us are just waiting with bated breath on KB's response to your queries, as well as other member's queries.

Reminder: This is not Kopitiam, so please keep this thread free from Kopitiam-style chatter. Thanks!

Well now that all has been moved, it is no longer an issue?

It would be good for KB to come back to give their views.

Steven Yee is a good photographer and I do belive that his courses will be of interest to many of us here. Though we may have difference in our opinion but the does not take anything away from him withregards to his skills and standing as a photographer.
Another thing is their course fee are very much lower that some others around ( if I'm not mistaken ) and I'm tempted to go for one of them pending more info about the course coverage.

I really hope they stick around.

I am attending a course at Knowledge Bowl and find the instructor (not SY) there very knowledgeable and professional in his teaching and I can recommend this course to any interested person who wishes to PM me.

That said, I take no part in the discussions between truth photog.., SY and the rest as I do not have anything to say simply because I don't know enough of the case or have the full facts.

Moving posts does not resolve any issue or remove doubts raised at all. They just remain unanswered. However, what moving out posts does is to make the questions raised less visible to newcomers to the thread and interferes with exercising due diligence as suggested in the sticky thread entitled "Caveat Emptor -Buyer beware" in the beginning of this sub-forum. Seperating posts into different splinters does soften the effect that would have existed if the posts were left combined in the same thread.

ya da ya da ya da ... leave people's business alone lah! Due diligence??? Who died and made u judge, jury and executioner? Anyway, FYI, I did sign up for a course (Travel n Creative)there at KNOWLEDGE BOWL to try out, and .... their classes are excellent, and Steven is a excellent instructor.

And who died making you judge jury and executioner?

:o Your slip is showing. Knowledge Bowl did not list any course entitled "Travel and Creative" or "Creative" in their threads here. "Travel and Creative" is what PSS call their course. So did you sign up for a course with PSS or engaged KB for a special course just for yourself?:)

To All who read this thread:

I have moved more posts from Knowledge Bowl's workshop thread to this thread.

Since the posts were moved at 2 different times the discussion may not "flow" smoothly but I believe most can make out what is happenning.

If you have any concerns about this issue and the way the admins and mods are handling this you can raise them here.

Reminder again: this is not kopitiam, so please post appropriately.

Also, if you have no idea what led to this thread, please do a search for related threads to find out for yourself instead of asking "what's happenning?" kind of questions here.

Actually, the thread, http://forums.clubsnap.org/showpost.php?p=3120993&postcount=1, should have been deleted immediately upon coming on line. It lists 2 different courses in 1 thread and contravenes that forum's rules and regulations as stated in http://forums.clubsnap.org/showpost.php?p=2856111&postcount=2
Then again in the thread on the photoshop course, Knowledge Bowl listed 3 courses in that thread and contravenes the rule again.
There have been instances where workshops and photoshoot thread have been deleted for flouting this rule. Why was Knowledge Bowl allowed a privilege others do not enjoy?
First the truth-photographer/Steven Lee fiasco, then this. Why can't certain people abide by or be made to abide by the rules?

Thank you for your diligence and vigilance on this and we have communicated with Knowledge Bowl to prevent future occurrences of posting multiple workshops in a single thread.

It is most unfortunate, then, that you have not acted fairly. Instead of taking action as stated in your rule, http://forums.clubsnap.org/showpost.php?p=2856111&postcount=2, you have permitted Knowledge Bowl to continue abusing the system you set by continuing with their threads that contravenes the rules you set. In addition, Knowledge Bowl has already been permitted a 3 week run without action by the administration. As a result, you have given them an unfair advantage over their competitors here by having allowed them to, now continue to allow them to, advertise 9 courses actively and limited advertisers, who pay similar rates, to promote only 8 courses/workshops/shoots. Is this not unfair practice and preferential treatment?

What kind of unfair practice and preferential treatment are you talking about?

Who are we unfair to and who do we prefer over who?

Dont start shooting words out from your mouth without clarifying or confirming. And what and which thread are you referring to about the 3 weeks run without action from administration? What action are you expecting?

And which competitor are you representing?

Do you even know how many of KB threads were deleted before? And why they are deleted?

We are not your paid salaried workers and its also not in your membership clause that we have to tell you everything we are doing. If theres a need to know basis, we will tell. Else if its nothing concerning you, learn to keep your mouth shout. If you are a paid advertiser and have any concern, raise it thru the proper channel and we will address it.

This thread started off from a case where duplicate nicks are registered and abused to one that started to one that starting to accuse about CS admin of unfairness.

I dont think theres a need to continue this thread. Trying to act like Policeman, lawyer or Judge? Try other forum , not here.

I hope I make myself very clear. Anything more of this stupid nonsense behaviour, I won't even bother replying. I will just de-register the very moment I see that.
