hmm till now i've been using the WF6662A =x no problem to me =x.

and its cheap =x

Also using this tripod. was previously using a cheap slik pan head type tripod but didnt like it due to stability issues. my only gripe with the weifeng tripod is its weight and a bit hard to use when doing pano shots.

I recently purchased a Sirui T1005X and was just wondering, when the tripod is set to its initial factory settings, do you all find the leg a bit stiff? when bending the legs from storing position to standing position? Is it supposed to be like that or should I loosen it a little? Can anyone Sirui users help? Thanks!

Initial factory settings? sounds like software
The legs joint has some allen key holes to loosen. Try that it helps.

Recently acquired a Sirui T1205X and K10X ballhead. So far so good.

My previous tripod, a Hama Traveller Compact Pro, is impressively light for an aluminium tripod. With its ballhead it is barely 200g heavier than my current CF setup. And it cost less than 1/3 the price.
