I use a Really Right Stuff The TVC-33 Versa Tripod with the Really Right Stuff BH-55 head. Tried a few tripod/ballhead combos and this is the one I like best.

Just picked up the Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 and 496RC2 ball head Most pleased

This replaces my somewhat old Slik Pro tripod.

I just got Manfrotto 7302YB .. my first tripod... built in ball head.. can carry 3.5kg.. lightweight 1.4kg.. solid built..
I got it for only $140...

Been using Gitzos for the longest time, and going for RRS now. I have the Ground Pod and it is more sturdy than anything I've used.

Will be selling the last of my Gitzos, a monopod and upgrading to the RRS version also.

No problems with both my R2204 and T1204, both have a nice smooth feel when unlocking and locking.
I guess it's a matter of getting used to it.

I just went TK and got my first tripod... the Sirui N1004 tripod + K20X ball head... fits my budget and needs...

I just got my T1205x and k10x. Super lightweight and short/compact! weighs in only at 1.15kg with ball head. its around 38cm long when reverse folded.

i just bought a Hama Traveller Compact Pro today. Uncle at the shop told me it's a good tripod from a famous german brand. I don't know much about tripods so i went ahead with his recommendation. Anyone heard about or used a Hama tripod before?? =x

That K10 ball-head is miles away from the older G10 ball-head, I would rate it as even better than the older G20.

Just received my Really Right Stuff BH-30 ballhead last night without the quick release plates as I have my own quick release. Looks and feels fabulous. Their selection for camera support equipment is amazing from browsing through their latest catalogue.

Will be used for both my Gitzo and Sirui tripods.

Using a Sirui T-1204X with a Markins Q10 ballhead. Compact, light and very little creep!
