I'm looking for a tripod below the range of $50. (Yeah budget tight hehe).

Can anyone recommend me any good, stable tripod at the price range and where to get it?

Stability is all relative, what camera are you using? For that budget though, I guess a Slik U8000 is your best bet.. or maybe some Velbon (though I dunno if there's a decent one at $50).

How heavy's your setup? Do consider that factor too!

How tall are you ? Do consider that factor too! :)

If you don't mind stooping a lot, yea, plenty...

1.68m (probably grown more but I don't know for sure)

How heavy's my setup? Never really weighed my Minolta X-700.

X700 with what lenses?

I mind :D

Any tripod about 170cm max operating height below 50 bucks?

Hiee...

I do have a couple of tripods that i want to let go. Are you interested in a Giottos or Velbon - DF40

regards,
Sulhan

Hey I'm interested, it looks good, but what do they mean by head mount not interchangeable?

Hi....

What they mean is that the head cannot be changed to a ball head. It has a quick release mounting shoe (normal type that you seen on pan head tripod).

I 'm willing to let this tripod go at $45 - it has been used only for 3 months - bought in US. Will be replacing the mounting shoe to a new one if you want to take the deal.

DO let me know.....

regards
me

I'm interested, is there any place I can contact you privately? You do not have PM enabled.

Hiee.....

I'm currently in States and will be back by next week end. Do pop me an email.

Regards,
Sulhan
