Are those human-height tripods?
What's the diff betw 6600 and 8000?

Btw, how do you carry a tripod around? Can it be folded to half its length or something?

These might be helpful...

SLIK U8000

SLIK U6600

Thanks Auntie Landes!

hheheeeee

Anyway, You can get a Slik tripod bag at CP at abt $13 (I think) to house the tripod. Alternatly, you can DIY a tripod sling so that you can carry it like a sling bag.

Lefei : U r welcome... I juz happened to have those info on hand that's all...

i am sure it is ok for the s40 but not too sure about the video cam...
can any ClubSnapper answer this?

got my slik u800 today :p
the supposed weight limit is 2kg....
but if ur cam got all those zoom lenses... may not be stable cos the thing protrude out so much.

take note of this...

`Attaches easily onto still, and video cameras.
just align the quick shoe along the length of the camera body, and tighten with a coin`

???

what a hassle?
and does it come with water mark?

rather interested in the tripod bag..any photos?
