Translate your paper money

You should seriously think of translating your money into something solid and durable like cameras and lenses.

Money is made of paper which is flimsy but cameras and lenses are made of more durable stuffs like plastic, glasses, titanium etc.

Does this make sense to you?

A few years back my lawyer friend told me that buying a 2nd hand Premium lens is like having a fixed deposit. When you need money you just cash it. Since then I have invested in several dry cabinets and putting my money into lenses. Furthermore with all these quantitative easings your money seemed safer with something solid.

But it is mostly money out not in. :dunno:

Why don't you have a feel of your beautiful glasses once a while. See how solid and heavy they are. :bsmilie:

Now feel a few pieces of paper money. They are so flimsy and fragile.

Totally agree with you. I will help you. Give me all your flimsy and fragile paper money.

To be honest if you Buy Leica's fast glass ( the 1.4 ) and kept well you not loose much at all..... sometimes if timed right during times when certain lenses are hard to find in Dealers you can make money... try that with Nikon or Canon. ;)

I had a Leica 50mm 1.4 ASPH and lost only $100 over a year when I sold it!

My lawyer friend made money or broke even with each transaction while I always lose money. My buyers are always lucky.
