Excellent movie.

I love how one of the hangar door in the National Air and Space Museum (Washington, D.C.) opens out to the AMARG storage facility (Tucson, Arizona). As such is the magic of Hollywood script writers. :what:

What puzzles me is in Transformers I, Optimus Prime got his ass kicked very badly by Megatron every time they fought. In Transformers II, he took on several decepticons single handedly, including Megatron, and manage to beat them up pretty bad before being stabbed....

Also in T2, the robots seem very much more vulnerable to human weapons. I remember in T1, the humans shot hundreds of rounds without damaging the robots much. In T2, bits of the robots got blown off with every shot.

Actually...... just forget what I wrote. I don't even know why I try to apply logic to this movie. It is about a bunch of transforming robots from outerspace for goodness sake

But it was good fun...

Indeed, there're some minor points which don't really make sense (especially the human-like robot). Who knows? It can be a new species, can't it?

They are a subset of the Decepticons known as the Pretenders.

the movie was AWSOME!

a total no brainer... just let the action hit you square on the face! plot, story, etc. all fall by the wayside. just sit and enjoy the ride.

I think Gi Joe's effects are much better than transformers, ironically both movie's filmed @ the Great Pyramids in Cairo.
