I know Transformers is mainly a boys/guys thing but still, I belonged in the era where Transformers were extremely popular.

I was very impressed by the movie, and that kind of surprised me too, because it's a Michael Bay film and I wasn't very impressed by any of his previous works. Yeah, it's just me I guess. Very good CG effects and each time they transformed, it took around or less than 3 seconds for them to become robots.

However, I thought for a film about robots, I thought there were some scenes with too much human in it (aka dialogue) and it would be better if they change it to a fight between the Autobots and the Decepticons. But otherwise, I felt my money was well spent and I was very much entertained for that 2.5 hrs.

Just my 2¢ worth.

Grown up Transformers, lotsa metal, high body count.
Megan Fox. :lovegrin:
Hong Kong and Anime style action sequence :thumbsup:

Action sequences like a live action Armoured Core game! :thumbsup:

This movie tops Pirates and Spiderman3.
Though I love Bruce Campbell's cameo in Spidey3.

And the classic line 'By the end of the day, one shall stand one shall fall'
Whoa just like Transformers the Movie animation of the 80's

This is gonna be a Code 1 DVD keeper!

I read an article by the ST a few days back. It talks about the robots featured in the film. It is a pity that the combiners like Constructicons/Devastator are not featured. If the film has them, I believe it will win many new fans and hardcore fans will be pleased.

We'll be having something like Godzilla vs the autobots? :bsmilie: Already megatron looks huge (much less the rest of the autobots and decepticons)... the combiners will overshadow the rest of the movie.

It'll also take away the limelight from the on going battle between optimus and megatron

I think I might even buy the TRANSFORMERS game! The graphics and transformations look uber cool!

On which platform looks cool? Sometimes when the game gets to PSP, the graphic is a let down...
