i see....actually i'm hoping to get into Air Force

Then you need a Surefire A2 Aviator. :D

CatEYE's 3W LED drop-in module would be a great option too.

Or even a Fenix L1P or L2P if you want to use more economical AA alkaline, NimH or lithium batteries instead.

what're the prices of the above 3 mentioned?

Hey folks,

1) Got 2 more lights to clear. Surefire E1 Executive from my collection. This is the former version of E1 before the launch of E1e and is actually smaller than the E1e. . It is built in HAIII and the condition is 10/10 since it is only a shelf queen. :) It is not easy to find it anymore as is already out of production. BTW, it uses a 1x CR123A battery only. For a pic of it see here

go down to the 8th pix, that's the one!

2) The second light is the Surefire L1 LumaMax. This is a ultra-long runtime light that uses only one CR123A battery. Powered by Luxeon III with 2 stage brightness for runtime. Good throw too. Small. Perfect EDC light for you. With box, manual and lanyard.

3) Last one to let go is Surefire KL3 bezel Generation 2.1. There are 2 versions of the KL3 Gen 2. One is with curved end and the other is step end. The optics are also different. The latest one which I call 2.1 has a Frean TIR Optics and the beam quality is better, smoother and bright. I dun think there is any website that got a review as yet. :)

PM if interested. Note that all prices stated in those links are in US$.

2 more superb lights to let go. Anyone interested?

Don't shine it directly on peoples' faces at night. :bsmilie:  hey! you try to shine it on a big dog at night and see the dog's reaction....hehehe make sure you shine directly into its eyes!

I tried it on my dog and it immediately looked away..

Please DUN be evil... you can blind them. At night, their pupils open up.

SO FOR GOODNESS SAKE, dun shine at the animals at night.

Sheares is the Singapore Distributor for Surefire. There is another brand made in Singapore, also about more than a hundred bucks for each. Based on the Luxeon Star. I don't like Surefire as they uses CR123 and their reason for using it is not justified by the running cost of it.

well, i tried on a few big dogs who came toward me aggressively , my M6 stunned the dog for a few minutes! it turned the dogs into a statue for a while! :) Leaving some time for me to leave the dog. But some dogs just turned away.

Only when I am chased aggressively my friend. I agreed we should not shine at animals unnecessarily and only when we are attacked. But even if they are shone at, the effect is ONLY TEMPORARY. Cool it man!

You refering to Longbow? IMO, Longbow is a peice of ****, really regretted getting the Longbox Micra. This is my opinion. Might as well add a bit more and get a Surefire E1L which is MUCH MUCH better. To each his own.
