still... Tamron has a much better rep than Tokina :think:
 

$880 for the tokina!? wth! :bigeyes: Thats 60-70% more than the tamron! :dunno:

You pay for the more solid build for the Tokina. But i understand the CA's bad. Is the CA really that bad on a 4R print? Any users care to share?

Tamron's a more plasticky feel, but the printout is much shaper. Less CA as compared to the Tokina model.

well, imho i won't be tossing my lens all over the place, so build isn't much of an issue for me :) and yea, you have a point. any user willing to post examples?:D
 

nope i got mine at 750 from op plus free uv filter... not even reach 880 but up 4 this lens i love doing potraiture and it give me a soft look... not so sharp wich is perfect 4 potraiture!:)

Still....Its a few hundred more than Tamron :think:
