Went to Sigma site and found this options which nobody mentioned.
4. Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 EX DC HSM
It has built in HSM which is suitable for DSLR without motor.
y not consider Sigma AF 10-20mm f/4-5.6 DC EX HSM? cheaper and nt much difference?
from what i read, most prefer the version with variable aperature instead of this as it seems to be sharper.
Hi there, I dont really get what you meant. The Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 EX DC HSM specs states on its website the maximum aperture f3.5 and minimum f22 so doesn't that makes it a variable aperture lens?
i can c alot of pple have replied to the threads.
after reading rockwell, i seem not to have too good opinions of sigma uwa lens. Tokina seems 2 b the best.
any views regarding the tokina 12-24 f/4?

comparing between the 2, which one is a better buy? trade off the range for 1 mm wider + 2.8? is it worth it? which would be better for wide + walk around?
