you can check the price at price.hk.

but think it is slightly cheaper but the warrenty shorten to 1 year! best is ti buy nikon lens in hk, buy liao with the recipt and warrenty card, nikon will accept. but there 2 kind of warrenty, 1 is international, 1 is only apply to HK macus and china. so ask!

Do a focus test. Bring along a focus test chart or use the shop's calculator as a gauge. However I feel that bad copies are pretty rare and it has to be really bad for it to be apparent on such a wide lens.

I found a shop in Hk selling the lens at $730 sgd and it comes with 3years Hk warranty so I'm assuming it's not a grey set! U guys think its too good to be true?

i am guessing that those are US websites, the westerners are know to return things for the smallest reason.

They have a lemon law that allows them to return things with no questions asked

so naturally some people abuse the system

I have a relative staying the the USA, he say his next door neighbor bought a cooking pan and used it for 1 month until it turned black from the cooking, and returned it to change for a new one

You just enquire for the price without buying right? Yes it seems too good to be true. Maybe when you say you want it, they have no stock

I was at the shop itself, they had stock but I didn't bring my dslr out that day to try so told them I'll be back! Im doing my summer school in HK!
