I plan to buy this lens for a long time. Just got a e-quotation from MS color about this lens.

77mm filter worth $35 plus 2 years warranty

Can I check with you guys whether Tokina does have 2 years warranty and what do you think of this offer?

Tokina should have 2 years international warranty, not just local.

Just to share the walk-in quotation I got last night at John 3:16, which is 930 cash payment only.

These filters are not 'freebies' since the price of the lens with such 'freebies' already included the cost of the 'free' filter. Personally, I prefer to choose and buy my own better quality filter rather then pay for the usually sub-standard filters that are 'given' away as so-called 'freebies'.
