Hi Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 User

Thinking of buying this lens too.
Any of you guys use it for portrait shot and any photo to show?

Thanks for in advance for yours kind input.

Brought the 11-16mm on a 3.5mth backpack trip to Europe and shot numerous landscape with it.

While there are many UWA lens out there, the f2.8 of the 11-16mm definitely is an edge over the rest if you are on a tight budget. The below shot is an example of what f2.8 can do.

More 11-16mm shots can be viewed from my thread.

it doesn't fit on full frame cameras.

this lens is for cropped bodies only.

It does fit on FF camera and has been proofed by many bros here. I had also had tried this on a D3s. Works great on 16mm. On 15mm you get minor drop off at corners. 14mm and below you will see visible vignette. Remember to force FX mode when attach DX lens on ur FX bodies.

Yea of cos it can be fitted into the body itself.

Not suitable for FF means it will show vignetting. Unless you want like a pinhole effect or a fix 16mm, den this is not called suitable.

where to but the cheapest? used or new it's okay with me. i will use it with 7D. any preference? thanks
