Nope, different. You check the lens there personally. If you ship or sent from overseas, your lenses may have some defects and you will hear your lens telling you, "I hate flying back too!".;p

By the way, i hate flying too.

actually if ordering from overseas, remember to add 7% GST if total price in SGD exceed $400.
i forgot to factor that in also.

if flying it in yourself, you can throw away the packaging to avoid GST i guess.

True, but I think the chances of that happening are quite low.

I sure as hell wouldn't fly 8 hours to save a few hundred dollars on a lens. My time spent lazing around is worth much more. But that's just me.

You must remember that Third Party brands tend to have lower QC tolerances, so checking a lens before purchase is always a safe way of making a purchase, no matter how high or low the chances are of you getting a lemon.

I saw there's a wellknowned Malaysia website selling this set of lens at RM2,250 by KKK. Converted is USD750 and I think it is really worth the price/performance. But yeah, as you may expected, it is not local waranty...sigh..
