To Q or to Q10?

Really impressive shots!
IMO, we really need more ppl locally who can shoot these sort of model shots as a showcase Pentax.
(other genres pretty well covered, but we've really lacking on the model/portraits genre... no offence to Pentaxians who shoot this genre, but I don't know of)
And he's done it with a Q!
 Incredible!

Bro Poseur and Zoom3, where are you guys? :D

Nice work from a master. Make me remember one famous sentence. Is not the gears that take nice photos, but rather the man behind the gear.

My Q arrived from Japan !!! :D

A big thank you to all bros here for their feedbacks (and encouragement) ...the Q does have ENGLISH language menu, just as you guys said it would.

First impression:

A really tiny camera that has overwhelming features for the price I paid.
Took a couple of test shots and I must say the sensor is not too shabby for a PNS, APS-c sensors resolves more but only if you crop aggressively and look closely, I'm hard pressed to tell the differences betweem a 1" and the Q's IQ.

I've a bunch of old FSU rangefinder lens here just waiting to be adopted ...and the Q with a m39 adaptor is right up my alley :bsmilie:

Thanks again, you guys Rox !!!

Errr.... too busy shooting and processing :bsmilie:

Too busy oogling at the new models I am planning to shoot...hahaha

2 more Q10 shots.

Your use of the lighting and shots are just incredible.
Really hammers down on me how much of photography is the skill of the photographer, rather than gears.

Thinking if getting the q body alone to try for macro, can some kind soul pm me the street prices for 01,02,06 lenses? Can't find it in marketplace..

Pentax Q + 06 at Panaroma Hill at Sungei Lembing. It is not an easy hike though only 320meter, light equipment is very important to me, leg is ageing. The setup give me the range of 83-239mm f2.8 (with IS) and only about 300gram.

Though Q comes with 1/2.3' sensor, the RAW file allows heavy tweaking during post process. Here is a picture shot (in RAW) by Q + 01 lens and PS in CS5. Look at the detail of cloud, and the skin tone of the girl that I could pull put from underexpose.
