To Punggol, With Love

Oasis LRT is already opened but nor for Damai LRT :)
as I went in Jan, but couldn't find the lalang field, shall try it this month probably.
for the lallang field, there are certain timings for it to bloom where it will be all white and fluffy... still waiting to get the right timing... sometimes its just yellowish.

A photoshoot turned hiking from location 1 to 14 and then ended at the beach. One shot to share..

Punggol Beach

Don't know how many people are aware of this, but wld like to share this little bit of info anyway.

The tide around 4 to 6 pm is usually quite high and would rise to the point of covering the concrete steps to the beach. At this point, one way of getting down to the beach is to pick your way down the stones shown in post #313 (member, Radiation's post).
The stones are towards the left of the jetty.

Tide ebbs around sundown and the steps would be uncovered by then.

Was wondering which no. location on the map this place might be. Espcially picture no.3, where there is like a trek to walk on.

Thanks!

Refer to the map in the first post - my guess is area 13 /14 along the dust beaten paths, lallangs especially abundant on the right.

After u cross the metal bridge there are more lallang fields and paths as well.

How do I get to the lalang field if I don't have a car? I tried walking on the road with all the trucks parked at the side... it was too far and the place was almost deserted! Dunno if I was going the right way or not.

Some pictures i took :D

C & C welcomed. Just wondering, is it possible to catch a full sunset?
