richardson ? saha pair up with larsson ? rossi ? other youngsters striker who are waiting in the wings ..well in such a big club whereby u cant perform . u got to drop him already. he had too many chances. but again this is only my personal point of view .. like what u say only mourinho can afford to drop such EX 20m player .

Given the work rate, never mind not scoring, imho, Rooney is still much better than Saha. Saha is no longer the same striker we saw when he was still playing for Fulham. Unless SAF buys another striker, it looks like there isn't much depth in this department. Solkjaer, given his age, is only good as a substitute. Larsson is only playing for a short term. So, Rooney continues to stay at the top of the pecking order despite his poor form but at least he still assist in the goals.

It was quite a performance in the 1st 15mins. Villa was swamped and in disarray. Really funny they played, Martin o' neil must be screaming his head off during HT. Larsson and Rooney quite unlucky not to score. Saha should have scored wit the goal at his mercy.
Got 2 new goal scorers in the team liao. Carrick and park. Total, Utd got 14 different goal scorers this season.

It's good to have so many goal scorer. It shows that not only the strikers are getting the goals, the rest can contribute too. It makes the opponents work harder not only having to look out for the strikers but also the rest of them who can also cause the damage. Only our goalie haven't score. :bsmilie:

Richardson together with Brown, O'shea, Fletcher and Silvestre, imho, are not up to the mark and deserved to go. Sell them and get a striker and a defensive midfielder. If they don't get now and, touch wood, if ManU let the title slip, then the fans will be cursing SAF for dragging his feet since the departure of Keano. Since we are leading by 6 points, we should reinforce the team with some quality players to strengthen it to ensure that we don't let other teams especially Chelsea chip our lead away.

exactly. so totally agree with u. no matter how bad his touches are currently, u cant deny he is making a contribution to the team.

what has saha done this season that shows he is better than rooney? rooney has more assist and they both scored the same amount of goals.
given saha's current form (not scoring), i'd rather play rooney since rooney has better stamina, strenght, aggression and determination.
Yeah, Saha is 28 or 29 and has only little mileage left in him whereas Rooney and Ronaldo, both in their early twenties, are the pillars for the future and they can only get better.

The chance of Rooney staying in ManU throughout his playing career is much better than Ronaldo. I foresee Ronaldo leaving in a few years time.
hmmm.. it's not a matter of "can" or "cannot".. it's whether they "did" or "did not" create assist.. so far only giggs created more assists than rooney.. ronaldo on par with him, i.e. 6 assists, and others less than him.. :think:

players complain is very normal , but a player like Rooney keep losing his cool tats not very good , yesterday i remember one part he lose his ball , when he fail to win back the ball then he go and tackle baros , that's just an example .. Richardson can also score goals, these youngsters rossi many more should be given a chance. i still think Saha is better than Rooney:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

yes, youngster should be given a chance, but not at the expense of points. selling rooney off is just crazy! from the way rooney puts in effort, u can tell that he still wants to play for man u. SAF wouldn't sell of a happy player with potential.
