yes he is, according to tt link...

i'm rooting 4 england but tt strange feeling tells me they wont do it this WC....
my semi finalists are Argentina, Brazil, Germany & Portugal

You have a point, for knockout stage, you need strong defence, good penalty taker and penalty stopper and England do not have it previously...but now Lampard, Gerard, Rooney (if he is fit) Owen, Joe Cole are proven penalty taker day in day out..other I am not so sure  Robinson also fare better than Peter Shieldton or David Seaman in penalty stopping so I think England is more optimistic this time round.....but if compared to Peter Cech, Dida and Buffon.....Robinson is a little disadvantage in frame size  Hopefully he can pull off a wonder during this campaign:lovegrin:

Rooney making 'perfect recovery' from metatarsal injury

Wayne Rooney's chances of playing a key part in the World Cup have been boosted after England's team doctor Leif Sward claimed the player was making a 'perfect recovery' from a broken metatarsal.

Looks like RVN's departure is almost certain.

"I know a lot of people in Manchester don't understand it. Well, it is the same for me.

"I love Manchester United. That is why I don't really understand it."

"But one thing I want to make clear is that I went (from the hotel before the Charlton game) because I had to go, not because I went myself." - RVN

Screw Fergie and you're out. :o

Diarra is favouring Real Madrid to Man United.

I think its basically a financial decision in that if they don't sell him now, The dreaded words of Sell BY DATE would approach. Then they are gonna get peanuts for him.

yup.. agree with u.
its make or break for RVN in this world cup. if he excels, ManU wd get a hefty offer for him. but at his age n current form, ManU wd rather sell him now - a financial risk they are willing to take.

no sentiment frm me but just dont rid him 2 chelski.... :sticktong

10 Mil to our transfer pot :bsmilie:

From that article, its a free 10 Mil. :bsmilie:  For a player that we have not sign or fork out any money for, its a steal man!

Imagine, you want to buy the last ipod on earth, agreed a price for it, then some kuku comes in and buy it and pay you for it too! :bsmilie: 5 times the orginal cost. lol.

Shaun Wright-Philips! :bsmilie: Bench warmer. Good for winters where the seats are cold!

Guys, this Theo Walcott is really something man. Saw glimps of him playing in last nite's Eng B match. All i can say is wow! If you think Rossi is good, wait till you see him! I think he match Rossi in every aspect. Fast, dare to shoot, good control.......very close to Rooney. Like mini Owen! But how he handle the pressure and develop remains to be seen.

No wonder Arsene and Arsenal so desprate to buy him.

Jenas tips Walcott to make impact

Rooney to miss England group ties :o

Some update of RVN n VDS !!!!

Van Nistelrooy's goal came in the 24th minute after good work from Andre Ooijer of PSV Eindhoven who headed the ball into his path after a long ball from the back by Joris Mathijsen.

The best chance for the Africans was a Pierre Webo effort which was kept out by Edwin van der Sar.

Friendly? I dunno got game.

Yorke supports Ferguson over Ruud
He was once frozen out by Fergie, now both are like friends again. Weird! Fergie actually allowed/invite him to train with Utd when the Aussie league season ended earlier this season.
