A good win 2 - 1

I wonder how is Heinze goin to the world cup if SAF keeps him on the bench but not playing him always.... ???
Its 2 matches since he's back fit.... :dunno:

Comments?

Cheers

Well, now that we're almost certain of not winning the league, he may play him soon?

But I guess not against Chelsea, just in case he kena injured again!!

Still got 3 games left. So Heinze might play in 2 of those 3. Maybe not against Chelsea. But really, Utd got no more chance of the title already. Chelsea only need 1 more point to win. So Heinze might play against Charlton and Boro. Utd need 4 pts to secure 2nd place.

Heinze & Brown deserved to be in their world cup teams... so is Saha. Too bad Smithy is out!
We hv quite alot of players going to Germany in Jun...
Hope they perform well and dont pick up any serious injury...

Well as long as Heinze recovers, he will be there and in the 1st team. Argie coach Pekerman said that! :bsmilie: Saha should be there too cos i think the French team dun have too many establish strikers. As for Brown, i think his chances not as high as the other 2 cos England got many DCs and the competition for the reserve places also very high. If Sol not in the squad, he might go.

Alan Smith, he is really got a troubled Utd career. When he arrive, cannot secure a 1st team place due to the competition. When he was converted to defensive mids and just about establishing and settling down, he broke his leg. Hope his luck gets better when he recovers. He will even have more competition for his DMC role if Man Utd sign the midfielders in the summer. He might be even go back being a SC if the midfielders and O'Shea do well.

Ya agree tt dept is competitive... Sven may goto gamble with Sol and Ledley even if they were barely fit for tt experience factor
Gd grief Woodgate is out. Cant see him perform with RM, let alone for England.

Its the striker dept tt is really weak, beside Rooney of cos.... too much reliance on him i feel. He's fabulastic but look at 2002 when England crashed out when he got injured. Cant see a better striker to compliment him upfront.... :dunno:

Honestly, I don't rate Brown highly and he doesn't deserve a place in the England team. If u look around, there are many English defenders who are much better than him. He is very inconsistent. As for Heinze, he is one of the best defenders to have don the ManU jersey and I rate him even better than Silvestre. Certainly one of the best leftbacks in the world and deserve a place in the Argentina team.

Actually Brown dun have much chance to be consistant. Either he is injured (Always!) or not given a chance.

The Opus - 3000 British pounds and 34kg! I want one but can't afford it. In SG dollars, its almost $9000!

Goodluck to Forlan :bsmilie:

Agree on tt... he's just unlucky! I feel tt he'd fit nicely on e right when Neville hangs up his boots. Bearing any injury, the back 4 looks strong with Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic and Heinze....

I don't think Brown can takeover Gary Neville's place as the rightback. The former can't play on the right. At least, Neville can overlap. Brown had played on a few occasions on the right and he looked so out of place there. So, the backline should be Neville on the right, Ferdinand and Silvestre or Vidic in the centre and Heinze on the left.

I think Brown's best is in the centre. Right back role, i think he is not very comfortable and mobile. Utd got some probs with the right back. After Gary, its who? Evra? He still looks shakey and unstable. And that kid? Phil Bardsley? Also not that stable yet.

In other areas of defence, i think quite good already. DC got Rio, Vidic and brown. Left back got Heinze and Silvestre. I hope the understanding between the 3 center backs improve. Sometimes, still got mistakes. So i think the weekness is the lack of adequate cover for Gary. Evra got to prove he can do it. When Utd bought him, i was worried that he will be a flop.

As for Eng, ya the whole nation is relying on a 20 year old kid. But no choice, he is special and they dun come everyday. Once a decade i guess. I think he can combine well with Owen or Defoe. Both are speedy and lethal in the box. Vassell got strength but i think slower. He replacement lagi an eye opener; Peter Crouch. lol. But i think he is actually quite good in the withdrawn striker role. His passing is quite good and with his height, he can trouble those south amercians and asians' defences, winning headers and knock downs and passing for the main SC. As an out and out SC, cannot make it.

Feel sorry for Brownie, at current form he really cannot cut in England.....I personally feel he is better off in Cetral with Rio.....with stablility in the central....both fullback in this case Neville and either Heinze or Evra or whoever can help up the winger....powderful combination:thumbsup:

Vidic is good but maybe he is still not very use to English style....he took too much risk as a results caught himself and colleague out

No offence to Newcastle fans.... Owen is a prolific striker when he's fit. But after laying off from the game for so long, its a big gamble to put him into world cup squad, esp when form he has not. Rookies like Bent and Ashton are coming up for a fight. They just lacked tt international experience.

Sven has a tough last decision....
