To G7 Or not?

Bro I got my G7 last week from John 3:16 at Funan for $855, cos AP there offering $865 but they didn't seem too interested in securing my $$$.
Furthermore it is a Canon promotion that with every Canon camera you buy (non DLSR) you get a FREE 2GB Toshiba SD card and a digital kit bag including a camera cleaning kit.
I'm wondering if you got screwed over the $15 for the 2gb card?
Otherwise that is one helluva expensive screen protector...
Yeap. You're right. John3:16 supposed to give the 2GB Toshiba (and this is a high-speed) card, digital kit bag, and the G7 leather case. I think AP got you there with the "$15 upgrade".

I bought mine last week(around Wed) at $860 (A.....at SLS ground flr )+bundled with 2-Gb Kingston SD card+digital kit bag including a camera cleaning kit+Canon's mini-extendable legs with ball-head tripod
Happy man(awhile only s__t, until I was in a cab, realised the screen-protector was not in:bigeyes: :thumbsd: cos the salesperson agreed can give me after when I checked for any further freebies.
Also, no "free leather case".
Worst is that :thumbsd: I paid $28 for the E-grips ok!!!!!!( I did bargain for it but was told fix $28)=(now I really know why number of ppl always mentioned "carrot-head" there):sweat:

Since you didn't mention a leather case ... jsut wondering if you wanna buy one ... I have one for sale ;p No, no chop-carrot-cake lah ... cheap cheap only

keep Anyway, I got an "i-Case"-brand(from Carrefour)while on my previous use of S2IS but not quite fit G7-alone, but ok when attach with G7's Adapter LA-DC58H.
Btw, how much u selling me the case? Don't u need it?

Mine didn't come bundled too. I bought it separately :cry: I usually throw the cam in my big bag, so the small one is pretty redundant ma ... SMS me if interested lo ... price slightly negotiable if u can self collect at AMK central :sweat: In good condition, sorry bout the lousy pics in the buy/sell post though ... using phone cam :embrass:

Will definitely take note of your WTS but its just that I'm in the mid of considering a
small enough cam-bag to put in a G7+Adapter+Cir-Pol+mini-tripod+2-extra-batt+
lens-pen+Dcr250+580EX(at times Only)+SDcards,etc.

oh man............. sigh .... and to think that i went there to buy the G7 because 2 of my other friends have already gone there to buy DSLRs and they told me that I can trust the price. And the salesman there knows the wife of 1 of my friends. And before I paid for it, i called up another fella and he told me that the quoted price is attractive. sigh ... i guess my whole gang got screwed.

I bought the Raynox 6600 Wide Angle lens from you on 2nd April, w/o even trying cos u mentioned that there is no vignetting if I used it on my Canon S3 IS. U told me that I need to buy a 58-55mm reducer, which I did the next day. After using the reducer ring to mount the lens, I discovered vignetting. This is contrary to what you told me. So I immediately SMSed you before my flight that night to let you know abt this. There is no way that I can return the lens to you that same day as your phone is not reachable (all the time). I've told u the day I bought from you that I will be using it for my trip, and you said that the lens would be very useful for me.
Now I am stuck with the lens, and adapter. I trust that you will be fair to take it back as I did try to contact u b4 I left for my trip. The lens and adapter are not used at all.
I'm giving the benefit of doubt that you probably used the lens on another camera model and did not see vignetting. So I trust that you are a fair trader in this forum and should act fairly. Pls contact me. I've left my mobile no in your mailbox.

If I angered u, I'm sorry. I'm resorting to this bcos I dunno how else to contact u. You have not replied my sms, pm etc.
If u read thru my msg, my overall tone is one of frustration bcos I could not get in touch with you.
Pls put yourself in my position. What would u do? Pls be objective in all of this.
Consider this:
- I smsed immediately after I discovered vignetting, after which I left sms, pm to you.
- I could not get in touch with u while i left for overseas. U requested me to return the kits to u while i was flying in the air. When I finally touched down in Europe I smsed u of my predicament.
- Upon my return to Sgp, I immediately tried to call u and pm and emailed u. As u mentioned rightly, countless sms and pm.
- Yet, u did not reply until now. Even though you should not answer your phone during office hours, you can at least return an sms.
I have been back since 19 April and yet you did not even leave me a single sms or give me a call. This is the first time u r finally replying.
What do u expect me to do? Pls remember that the first condition of this deal was trust. And I believe that's very important to keep and honor in this forum.
This is very simple to resolve. Just call me and resolve this.
