I noticed that the threads/posts are now using an absolute timestamp of date/time the post was submitted. This is a good improvement as the previous system of relative timestamping (ie 1 minute ago, 1 hour ago, 1 day ago) is in my opinion, not accurate enough :p

Was waiting for this to be done and it has :)

I prefer relative timestamping though, cuz it's easier to see. :) Suddenly I just see alot of numbers but can't figure out when it's posted at a glance. Need some brainwork. :p

Hmm, how about a combination of both?

relative timestamping up till 1 day old, and then after that, absolute timestamping?

I'd prefer this combination the best - I do agree that suddenly alot of numbers is a little hard to see, especially for the new posts.

The new timestamp is good but I find it pretty confusing as I need to always remember what date is today, will get used to it slowly perhaps but for the time being I would still prefer to see words like "today", "yesterday" to keep track on the newer posts and the older post.

Suggestion of the combination of both is good.

Sorry, had to turn on the detailed timestamping to do some troubleshooting. Have reverted back to the 1 min, 1 hour, 1 day type of timestamp.

Back to my lovely CS screen.

Darren, possible to put the detailed timestamping for posts more than a day old?

sometimes when I see "1 week ago" it's hard to tell which day of "last week" it was posted.
