Do you want to start a thread and invite all Lumix shooters? or just keep it fairly small? FZers?:dunno:

i think a fairly small FZer will do... as from past experince in photography outing, when the group is too big, there will be more delay and tend to have more people drop out or lost halfway ... but of coz if anyone wish to bring along their friend its will be great...

Sounds good to me, that way I might be able to remember all your names.;)

Aye agree, I think we just take those who are active in this thread, for the sake of familiarity and friendships =)

I might bring 1 friend along, but I'm not sure if i can convince her to come. Being the only girl, haha.

Vinze bring Veron!

P Ubin... hm, where's that again?

nope... she is not going to be the only girl... i may be bringing 1 of my female friend and also in this thread coolzephyr using FZ18 is also a girl.. haha

Coolzephyr sounds familiar haha, I remember trying to buy the FZ18 adaptor from zephyr or riscal, and both dont want to reply me! grr...

You didn't try to explain your mathematical theories to them, did you?:bsmilie::bsmilie:

lol! GeeZ!

In anycase, we need to decide on the time too?

And anyone thought of botanic gardens? We could walk there from orchard and take candids along the way. =X

Any time is fine by me, but step-son is like many Singaporeans, he stays awake all night and sleeps all day, but I am sure he will be OK on the day.

To Omber, dont think Veron will enjoy the outing shes not into photography at all, but will talk to her about it.
wats the date again for the outing ?

Sorry.

Its AY6810, sir! I'm in but not too 'ulu' please, I don't miss my army days....:sweatsm:

Would prefer a 'mainland' shoot if possible but if everyone's gunning for UBIN, then no choice!

I agree with mainland. Town area even better... but wonder if town area got enough things to shoot...

Not everyone has a TCON too, so hm, extreme wildlife may be abit out...

Do you guys like walking? =X

I was thinking

Orchard > Botanic Gardens > Orchard > Douby Ghaut > Clark Quay > Esplanade > Cityhall (End)

Probably spend more time in Botanic Gardens, and the rest will be just a walk-around kind of thing shooting people (& pretty girls). =X and the basic Singapore landmarks that is.

Perhaps we should mix walking with hopping on MRT as its a long walk...to City Hall...

Hi guys, the outing seems to be taking shape. Walking and MRT is a good idea. How about a lunch time meeting around 12:30 - 1:00pm start off with makan somewhere so that if some people are a bit late we will still be in the same spot, then move off to destinations somewhere? This way we can maybe get afternoon/early evening light and maybe those that have the stamina stay for some after dark shots.
This is just a suggestion, throwing in my 2 cents worth, discuss and ammend to what suits most.
I have a full 24hr leave pass from the Minister of War.:)

great. mine was just a suggestion. No worries. main land it will be, Botanical gardens is a great place,, been shooting there recently- My shoots of the flowers were all taken there.
