" Anyway, The Daily Mail seems to be the place to be for red-hot gossip today, as they have a couple of good 'uns - one we've all heard before and one that isn't so predictable.

We'll start with the latter, and that involves some right-wing jiggery-pokery. No, we haven't got more on Max Mosley, but instead word that both Liverpool and Newcastle are reportedly sniffing around Aaron Lennon like a couple of horny dogs.

The increasingly ineffective wideman will apparently set one of those two back around £10million, and that's not all from The Mail.

They reckon that Lennon could fill the tagged boots of Jermaine Pennant at Anfield, who may well be off to Aston Villa or Middlesbrough.
