hi guys, quick question regarding the shape-shifter:

are the neoprene pockets detachable? can we swap them around or take them out?

i'm hoping they are not fixed in those positions only..otherwise it's going to be tough to use the bag for other purposes.

also, anyone has an airport international roller bag they want to get rid of? looking for one for my underwater photography gear. thanks!

but for the ShapeShifter, you guys reckon that instead of a laptop, that I can chuck a Camelbak bladder into it instead? to me, hydration > laptop any day (since I am especially prone to photosensitivity induced migraine, ala head pain due to excessive heat/bright light exposure).

i reckon you could put the camelbak bladder in it. but i tink the inside is not very waterproof (it was intended for laptop) so if it spills some water, i might seep into the camera compartment...but you can try if you dun mind

got a harddrive instead.. but that's a bulky fellow.

Yes you can insert a 3L hydration bladder into the laptop compartment without any issues.

Just take the precaution of using a big ziplock bag to cover the bladder or a trash bag like in the army.

This is not a bag make for that purpose, you are looking at the wrong bag.

You have to know what this bag is designed for.

Think Tank products are made with a purpose in mind. For long trip there are other models that will fit that purpose. Look at their website to see what is suitable for you.

The laptop compartment is rather slim, so unless the Camelbak bladder is really low profile, it's gonna puff up the front and back of your laptop compartment.
