ok..here's the cheaper mac lobang i told you fellas about that time.
1. cheapest - find apple staff 25% off 1st mac, 15% for the next 3 (i think)
2. education - approx 6% off.
3. student developer - join apple student developer for us$99 or s$181 and get a one time 20% off. applicable to students in nus, ntu, poly.
assuming you dont know any apple staff...
if you planning to get a macbook then option 1 or 2 is probably best.
if you want a high end macbook pro or mac pro, option 3 can save you a lot. for example the entry level 8-core mac pro costs about*$4588 (retail) and $4288 (edu). with student adc discount it costs $3851 ($3670 + $181).

funny thing is when they go light,they rather use a 2 small shoulder bags than SBO style...
