Hey guys,

Thought I'd share with you all how I pack the Airport Antidote when going on an event shoot. I promised someone here I'd do it, so here it is.

Overview:

As you all can see, looks a bit squeezy here. Bag can still be closed comfortably. I shot these before I ended up taking out the two fast primes, and packing my laptop adaptors and hard disk into the space that it occupied.

Camera Body:

Goes into a padded section made up of some dividers put together.

Flash Diffusers:

The main prob is the lightsphere. It's bulky. I found that this Sliplock Case (Sliplock Case 50AW) holds the LS, Sto-fen and lens hoods really comfortably, so it's first choice for this role. Sadly, nothing TTP has on their product line can do this at the same price point.

Speedlite:

n584910563_2532432_7065.jpg

Fits into a Lowepro Sliplock Case 30, until I save up for Lightning Fast. Still, this has an extra elastic front pocket for lens caps, or an extra set of batteries, so it's pretty good a case.

Continuing in next post.

Okay, continuing,

Standard Lenses:

n584910563_2532428_5597.jpg

n584910563_2532429_5951.jpg

I use the Chimp Cage as a dual LC 35, to hold two normal focal length lenses. Apparently my feedback to TTP, to have a dual lens changer of some kind, sort of went through, because the new Skin modulus pouches has something of a similar idea, but designed to hold longer lenses as well.

Long Lens:
n584910563_2532430_6354.jpg

Carried in a LC75 Pop-down. Usually I'd borrow a 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM from my friend if I need long lens coverage indoors, but occasionally I'll bring my own Sigma 100-300 f/4. The Sigma is notably longer than the 70-200, when the hood is attached, hence the need for the pop-down.

More photos here. I didn't post all that I took, so if you wanna see how the Lowepro 60AW fit the two fast primes, it's over there. I host on Facebook, cos it's more or less unlimited bandwidth and photo count.

I find that there is a lot of wasted space. the LC75 pop down can be replaced by the large lens drop in, it will hold it no prob at all. you can throw the flash into a lightning with space for a HDD, I have done that before. the lightsphere is the 2nd generation soft material one right? that one can be compressed to save space. the 35 and 50 can be stacked on top of each other to save space or even inside the chimp cage, on top of the other lenses. the antidote can fit a lot more than what you are doing here.

Aye, okay some points to improve. Thanks.

Although, there's something I wish to object. Have you seen the 100-300mm f/4 with hood before? Even with the pop down extended, on the LC75 Pop-down, it's just the right length. How am I supposed to work with a large lens drop in?

Also, the 35&50 can be stacked when being packed, but in any case they will still need their two separate slots on the belt during shooting itself, so is there really a need to stack the lenses when transporting? BTW, I also don't own a Lightning Fast pouch.

not 'gay-ed' ??

SAY SAY SAY!!! :nono::nono::nono:

Remember... the 70-200/2.8 is pretty long. No way you can fit it into the Large Lens Drop In. Maybe you confused it with Whip It Out already?

think tank !! :)

hmm thinking of using the speed freak as a backpack (cooling) + afew modules

now think speed racer is too big !!

what ya guys think ?

Hmmm. Buy both, then see which one works. Then sell the other one half price to us. Teehee...

Bro, I am thinking of letting go "All the other stuff". Maybe you can get it for Pui Pui. Contact me if you are interested.

Aiyah, this one not big, not small. I wouldn't recommend it in the first place, unless you are NOT shooting and are just travelling light with a PnS.

It should not be call - All the other stuff, it should be call - Just the little stuff :bsmilie:
