ok ... check my cam already

when you 1/2 press the shutter release,
you see the std display in the viewfinder ... ( shutter speed, apeture etc )

when you release the 1/2 press, the shutter speed display in the
viewfinder changes to " br "

Does any of yours do that ?

what's " br "

Thanks
Not for me as well, no 'br' indication...

Kekeke..... u right lor... that.s your prize! But I can't see Panasonic developing into a major player for the near future.... it's quite hard to change the minds of people... afterall Panasonic has very little know-how about cameras.... especially SLRs.... and they need to distinguish themselves from the C, N & KM bodies which each have their unique features and strengths, and also be distinguished from the very elegant Olympus E-series SLRs.... that's tough in an ultra-competitive market for SLRs... I really what market share Panasonic has in the consumer digicams sector and the prosumer digicams sector.

Any prize if I manage to answer this question? ;p

You got your shooting mode switched accidentally or otherwise to bracketing... br stands for bracketing. Hee Hee...

In both single frame advance and continuious advace bracketing mode, after you half-press the shutter, the shutter speed and aperture value display in the viewfinder turns to br 1, indicating first bracket, i believe if you shoot, it'll goes on to br 2, br 3 and then back to normal.

;)

ahh ... thanks : )

Was wondering if my firmware needs updating :O

Hee... yesh, it's confirm. Hee..

Right another thing...

I've got the 5600 on camera, I just can't seems to set the Flash to manual, whenever i do, it'll turn to TTL when i half-press the shutter... am I missing something? I've tried all the flash mode, ADI, pref-flash, M, the flash's screen just show TTL...

Set it in the custom function of the 5600 to allow manual flash in all camera modes. Or use manual camera mode to use manual flash ratio.

Cheers!

Sorry, a little OT, but how did PRJC react to the taupok thing? It wasnt that big a deal when i was there what...maybe kenna only maybe 3-4 times during my 2 years there. Didnt see many ppl get taupokked either.....

Something I discovered just now. Was testing IR with my 7D in the afternoon and it worked actually. Think I've read somewhere here or in KMSLRTF that someone did managed a test as well.

The problem I had is that when I replace my VF with the supplied eyepiece cap, it didn't really fit tight and let some light in during the exposure. All my pics has this VF shape of high hue after adjusting the colours in the editing software.

Now I'm thinking of improving the eyepiece cap. :(

Hiee...

Juz take not of a dmage occurance - on my boss's D7D. The Vertical grip contacts may get caught in the hinge area and damge the section that protects the spring end.

THis part was damaged by the vertical grip and now the spring comes out.
THis is by description juz a while ago and yet to check it out my self at home.

sulhan

Explain? I thought the contacts of the grip are on a plastic column which then fits into the battery compartment. Those contacts should be flat. How will the contacts get caught on the springs?
