Back on topic (Which happens to be "Things you may not know about the 7D" if we've forgotten)

:mad2: - In Focus area selection mode. The AF point lights up only to show which point had been selected, and is not indicative of a locked focus. A seperate focus lock indicator and an audible signal will indicate when the AF system achieved focus. I believe other cameras light up the AF point when the AF has been locked.

OT reply.. not mutton.. it is beef, there is a mix of chicken and beef on the plate, just different by ratio.

About the bowl and gravy.. b'cos I've not start eating.. :bsmilie:

that really make me wanna go for the real stuff right now!!!!!!

here's something i really do not know about the 7D

in the viewfinder , the shutter speed always blinks
alternating between the actual shutter speed and some text
( cant remember the exact, but its 2 alphabets
like RS, or RP ... don't have my 7D with me now )

Searched the manuals but this does not seem to be mentioned ...
any idea ?

Screensaver, no joke... I was at MS Colour weeks ago... and one of the sales guy was showing the latest P&S slim type digital cam that really has the Screensaver thingy :bigeyes: I was on the spot really really really amazed (although dunno what the he*l is that for). I asked him personally to show me how it works :bsmilie: Well, there are consumers out there prefer this 'additional feature' to those typical one...

Never encounter before too... Maybe you can confirm again when you have your hands on the 7D again?

Soon.. we will have media player build in.. mp3, avi, vcd... then handphone + pda feature also..

when you release the 1/2 press, the shutter speed display in the
