theres nothing wrong with not wanting to post pictures.. lets face it.. theres only really a handful of photographers who bother to give decent CC on clubsnap. all the rest is either. wah good shot... thumbs up etc etc...
who learns from that?

besides, ive learn more in going on shoots with good photographers, than i could ever learn from posting thousands of pictures on CS.

Online is not only place to share pics and to learn - there is also face to face - remember that.

First shoot was very interesting with 2 models this time twice the fun :bigeyes: upz for you Gravemaid...

I think we are talking about unwillingness to accept criticism as part and parcel of learning rather than not willing to share face to face.

As to whether or not there is any comments is largely secondary, as there would be those who comment and those who don't. There will be others that does not know what to comment.

Very interesting to be told to MYOB on an ONLINE FORUM.

Every 2 bit "amatuer" photographer will all know their work. But that is nothing worse than a photographer like you who thinks that he knows everything when actually he knows nothing.

1. Can you take a good photograph on disposable camera without fancy camera. Show us your skill. Everybody would love to see good works. And I love to be proven wrong

2. Have you ever gone into the film to seperate colors for the mid-tones, highlights and shadings? Do you think its possible to achieve that for digital? let me have your views on how you do it and is it possible

Nuff said if its "no" for either one of the above on how much you know and can do.

Even for those who can do that, and have done that they are still humble and still wanting to share and be commented by others.

So since it is an online forum, I will continue to say whatever I want. If you disagree, you can either prove otherwise through constructive arguements or just ignore my post.

Me? I ALWAYS keep what I say to myself.

He is spot on. Look through the C&C u can see ppl giving thumbs up, even for awful pictures. When another disagrees, hordes of ppl will come defending him without constructive arguments. Saying stuff like "Good pic, enuff said" kinda stuff to discourage further debate on the pic.

Sometimes this sort of words of encouragement make a photographer get illusions that he is really a pro.

This is where one needs to be objective about comments and criticism. Out of the "good pic, enuff said" and "thumbs up", like you have mentioned that there will be someone who disagrees and give comments. That is enuff for the person who is looking for real opinions. The other murmurings can be generally ignored. And there will be those who give good constructive comments too. Argee?

Normally i do not pay to shoot XMM, they would have to pay me ...
I post here because of the "Vampire" theme, which i find really interesting

I do not need to see your "precious pics"
I want to see if the subject/MUA/location can come together to achieve my desired results.
