But I doubt you plan to sell off your 350D in the future. A D90 can probably still sell when I need to sell it (heck, people are still selling D70 and D80 now, and even D50). But a D90 with such a cosmetic flaw will not sell, and even if it would, it would be going at a ridiculously low price. I also know that these cosmetic flaws will not affect the functionality of the camera, but not everyone is like us. I not only look at functionality, I look also at resale value.

Is it a common problem? Cos my friend's 350D also have paint and rubber grip peel leh

no idea. i am a 450d user, my 350d is an IR mod one. thats why i can still resell it later for that IR mod.

i'm looking for a 450d, to do a full spec mod actually. then i'll just buy different cut offs and use live view to compose. i prefer the 450d over the 350d by a lot
