Check out the Samsung monitor & you will surprise .

that's exactly what i'm using, and my brother is using as well :bsmilie:

not even a week of using and my brother's monitor started malfunctioning. repaired once, changed once... before it could actually work.

for mine, although i'm still happily using it... half of the screen colors faded off even before 3 months of bare usage, don't know what malfunction that is. was in NS at that time so i only used it on weekends for short periods.

that was what surprised me because the shop owner said that the monitors from Samsung were of good quality.

I'd say Samsung screens produce very vibrant colours and have good viewing angles, that may be what the shop owner was referring to.

actually i was referring to getting a TV for a PC monitor LOL not a normal monitor. pardon for the mix-up.

for TVs... still nothing beats Sharp or Sony. yes the color vibrancy is there. but other than that... the quality of the product is quite questionable. maybe a few more years down the road, the quality will rise. but of course, the price will rise with it. BUMMER.

TV act as a monitor is a good idea.
