BC = 'Being Corny' mode

I would not touch this thing with a barge pole on the Q classic, but I think it works a bit better on Q7.
It can still come up with awful results though.

If this mode allowed 3 frames (actual; front focused; back focused) to be saved and used for manual blending, that it would be so much better.

Your daughter (I assume she is) is adorable- this pic makes me want to hug her and squeeze her cheeks

Nice use of B/W.

These pics have the advantage that you have a good eye and it's small, so not max resolution.

When you take these pics and look at them SOOC (straight out of camera) do they look this sharp and have the creamy bokeh without PP?

The o/p is certainly good enough.
I have even made A4 prints with the original Q picts.

imo, the Q series is not about comparing iq with large sensors.
Thats setting it up for certain failure and unhappiness for the user.
Its another photographic tool/option.
Easy to bring, spontaneous to use and play with cameta effects, and unique capabilities.

The picts here by everyone already show what the camera can do in real use situations.

The blur is from the blur control function.
It takes 2 or 3 images and combines in camera.

I'll get back with a more proper photo of the setup.

Here's what I have readily on Flickr.

Its missing the lunchbox diffuser and a 'searchlight', so I will put up a photo of that when I setup the system for macro next time.
I've also switched to using a smaller 55mm macro.

Yes. Its manual focus and aperture with the adapter.
