The Pentax K1 Thread! - Post all your K1 picts and impressions

Camera low light performance on the K1.
I was actually prepared to not take any picts since some online guides about the night safari mentioned that it was not going to get anything.
So I just brought a K1 and a FA35/2 and no longer lens.
Those who wrote the comments on the night safari probably did not have a K1 :D

Not a black cat in the dark room, but I'm happy enough with what the camera can do. ;)

Nice! Wish I still had the FA*85. I will wait for the new version then

So u want it back? I seldom use nowadays also. Haha.

Nah, in my new role, I have to work weekends too. This school is crazy, making an IT manager do PA duties on weekends and expect to do so all year round. Cannot even plan my own things to do.

Shot the temple quite a few times, but sometimes thats the thing with being complacent.....
Walk further down and the whole view changes.

Just goes to show that every location usually have many more angles and focal lengths to try out.

Had wanted to do the shots from these perspective for quite some time . Since CNY was approaching the decorations adds to the festive moods. Both pinholecam and myself made time for the shoot and it was a great learning opportunity with pinholecam giving the advise.

Nice shots Ranchy.

I don't have any model shots to share.
Wish I had more time to shoot some.

Checking out the combination of the FA77+AFA1.7x to get that extra reach for landscapes w/o the need to add a 135mm to the bag.

10stop ND with black card technique since I don't have a GND :D

Have not used it for a long time too.
But now I think I have found a good use for it.

Carrying a 85mm or 77mm and the AFA 1.7x means that I don't need to carry a 135mm with me for cycle touring.

Friend jio me to shoot HongBao River, went there on Mon all closed. :(
So just shoot the usual Citiscape of CBD with Sigma 10-20 @12mm + ND Filter + Bulb mode
