Actually no need to wait and see...
Just go out and try it for yourself and perhaps surprise yourself that you can do it too.
Just a matter of taking multiple shots like a "human pano" and stitching them.

f2 or f2.8, I like to stop down a bit to prevent CA and have enough DOF to "fall over" the subject.
I usually prefer that bit of DOF to better define the subject than the pure wide open shallow DOF that sometimes won't outline the subject as clearly.
This is a Brenizer shot, so I'd think its probably equivalent to some sort of 28 f1 or something in terms of FOV and DOF (there is a calculator to calculate this; but I did not bother to do it of course
)

For that shot , how many photos you divided into ? 9 ? or you shot vertical ?

Baking is often a good way to get a dish going for me since I am often juggling a few things at once.
It does its own thing for that 20-40mins while I can get the rice and veges going.
Chicken, thyme, bacon in a tray baked till browned.
