The Pentax K1 Thread! - Post all your K1 picts and impressions

Was reading a thread in PentaxForums and found that one owner had dropped his K1 while on a hiking trip. He did not even use a strap on the K1. It just dropped from his hand and bounced on the ground before landing in mud.

The local USA repairer has not even got parts to repair it yet.

This shows that straps are important and the tye you use as well.

Trying out the FA200 on the K1.

A very well sum up of the camera from The Camera Store.

Pentax K-1 Hands-On Field Test (with Nick Devlin) - YouTube

With their video, I don't even think I need to talk about this camera anymore. :D

I found it odd that they posted a disclaimer for Pentaxians who are aggressive against criticisms. From my experience here in Singapore, Pentaxians are the friendliest bunch around!
And that Pixel-shift seems to work great. I wonder if this feature will find its way into the next range of APS-C cameras too...:)

Good to see some many excellent photos from K1s. I haven't got chance to use mine yet, hopefully will be able to take some tomorrow during the outing :)

It is so good that Pentax has been supporting all those K mount lenses.

Some of the old lens still shine.
