Thanks JK , if you are going, update me. I still got one more ticket to go lolx!

one more with the K1, pushing ISO to 12800.. i think still quite good and usable for showing on flickr..

Nice photos from everyone in here. I seem to have no time to shoot as much as I would love to shoot this year. After getting the K1 I have seemed to slow down.

K1 + D-FA 28-105 3.5-5.6

The "consumer zoom" for the K-1 should not be called one. A forumer on PF said of the DA16-85 that it is a lens with no weaknesses within its specs. The same, IMHO, goes for the DFA28-105. Sure, you may sometimes wish for wider apertures or (as occasionally in my case) wishing it would go wider or more tele, but that's not what it is designed to do. Within its specs, it does it's job commendably. Reasonably fast AF, good IQ across the frame, good colours. Coupled with the advantage of a light, compact, WR design, it does make a great travel lens.

I love the 2nd photo of the waterfalls. It has an extra eye-catching subject.

So far from what I have read, the impressions of the DFA28-105 has been very good, as your picts has shown too. :)
