& edit your #1 post to replace the pic before U get into trouble ... Just a friendly advice if u care to take it.

Cheers!

why would the poster get into trouble? maybe it is not a nice thing to do, but "get into trouble"? what happened to the photographers' right to take a picture in public and to display that picture?

So if you wanted to leave a note for the owner you can just stick your note under one of the numerous and conveniently located magnets.

maybe for the TP to stick the summon for parking on double yellow lines.

Holy cow! A car with chicken pox! This is one ridiculous looking car! :ipuke:

HAHAHAHAHA I was thinking the same think when I read the first thread.
Thought to reply what I have in my mind, buy you did it first.
Well done BRO!!
Have to said its very ugly looking car.

CHICKEN POX..pox pox pox pox........:bsmilie:

Aiyo... the famous Lancer. Yucks!

As a fellow Lancer driver, I have to say I don't know what is he thinking? Another attention seeker like that crazy dude from Singapore Idol? (Not that he has succeeded since I can't remember his name)

I think he still saving for a real spoiler..... So Ah Beng leh.

Aerodynamics?!!:dunno: I don't think so!!!!! Might actually slow the car down.....sssshhhhhhh.... but don't tell the owner that. Probably thinks it looks really cool!!! NOT!!!!
unless you actually put it through a wind tunnel you'll never know but my bet is he is on the right track. He seems to be breaking the air flow at the right places.

Golf balls aren't smooth, having the 'unsmooth' pimpled surface allows it to fly further.
Shark's skin is also darn rough and it lets them swim faster with less drag, this is now being tried out in new swim suits donned by swimmers.

I'm no expert in airflow dynamics so don't take my word for it.

Maybe he should go for a wing combo like this.

it looks like it has alot of sensors on the body.. like the normal ones at the back of the car.

2 look at this car...still er-xin

Wasted a nice looking lancer....Dun think the lumps are for aerodynamics, a few lumps like this how to cut thru wind? It dont even break the car shape...

Aluminium foil is for wat again? LOL

As mentioned earlier, you don't necessary have to break shape to cut thru the wind. The main aim of aerodynamic studies is to reduce drag, which can be achieved in various ways.
The common preception is to reduce drag profile, eg a sleek shape and small surface area etc etc. But these days, they also concentrate on other stuff, like reducing eddy currents etc.

And actually, other than increasing the power of the engine itself, most other types of car mods only contribute a small improvement to performance. That's why balancing your mods is important as small gains adds up to big gains.

This car is famous, from car forum to Lancer forum and now to Clubsnap...

actually, he's kinda smart... (in a wierd way)
If you park too close to him & dont open your door carefully, those fridge magnets will dent your car door in a few places....

but I'm still trying to figure out why he has them allover the car... dissipate heat faster? Mini balloon air-bags? =D

LOL! This is the same car I saw a few months back! My first thought was POX!

This car appear in my MSCP 2 days back ! ;p

but definitely not a resident at my plc there.. :nono:

lol..even if those bumps were to increase its aerodynamic capabilities, that lancer doesn't pack a punch with the power it has. all you need in singapore is a box with four wheels, with lotsa torque to jump away from a traffic light and good brakes to stop at the next light.. ;p

Maybe this is the latest in car security system.

When the car alarm is activated, the discs sends en electrical charge which covers the whole car. Like a force field in those sci-fi movies. Then when someone wants to steal the car, ZAP! he disintegrates into thin air...it also keeps to keep the parking attendants away.

Guess that's why you don't see a parking ticket on his car even on double yellow lines.

really a piece of sh=, dun know how he wash it??:thumbsd:

Lots of heavy downpour nowadays, dun need to wash.
Natural drive thru anywhere:bsmilie:

It appeared in Subaru Club Sg's forums .. apparently its for aerodynamics .... don't ask me :dunno: ... but under that hood is an engine that is not to be trifled...

Hahaha... :bsmilie: :bsmilie: i don't believe... :sticktong

it is not to aid in aerodynamics.

it is to measure the aerodynamics.
the way the air flows along the body.

how much drag & stuff.
for scientific, lab test.

it does not help in performance.
