Other than the long commitment to the show, this is the other main reason why I gave this a pass. Just doesn't seem right - even photography competitions don't go to this extent.

you choose and move along...... need to stick by your principles now ......

So need to take leaves for 17 days, from 10-27th of October 2010 !

As I am a serious hobbyist photographer, and still have a main job. It's almost impossible for me to participate.

but yea.... having to commit so many days for the shoot is kinda a turn off

Geez. I got a call from them just now for an interview for tomorrow. I told them I could not make it coz I'll be in camp, and the person on the line just went :"Thank You, Bye!"

like me....failed the first 'hunger' test for this ............ we all have different priorities in our lives...

i think the first thing they are sorting out directly and indirectly is to see who is hungry enough to want to go for it..... nothing wrong with it..... show will need to start with a manageable number of people with the right mind-sets and attitudes.... and on the last day of the show , end up with only one left standing

i just watched a few episodes of Big Shot 2 on xinmsn...and I think this is a really big joke, i don't find it inspiring at all and compared to the US version The Shot, it is quantum leaps away..
