Yup. I believe 28-135mm is a beercan and a rare one. It had the same constructions as the rest of the beercan I got. I got a photo here. :dunno:

Nope. The 28-135 is a nice lens, but "The Beercan" is only one lens - the 70-210 f/4. Also known by it's Leica name of the Leitz 70-210 f/4.

Agreed. When people mentioned about beercan, I believe they refer to 70-210/f4.

Although there is a beercan family, e.g. mini, big, etc but beercan always being associated with 70-210/f4, IMHO.

So please post only beercan (70-210/f4) photos, but feel free to create a new thread for other lenses and keep it technical or else mods/admins will scrap it, hehe.

I have to say it's one of the most value for money telezoom you can buy on the 2nd hand market. Hope Sony revives it in the form of a SSM G lens
