When you hear US politicians bragging about adding jobs etc...service workers and immigrants and low wages...thats your 30K job growth in December. So no one else went through Ohio..the Midwest...and really looked between the lines. This swaggering tv star and New York personality...he was always a big apple pager way back before apprentice. He says what everyone else is double speaking about and those in the heartland country tell the city polls to stick it in their ear.

Here is the deal the outside needs to always remember about the USA...it ain't just NYC and Hollywood. There are a bunch of farm boys the silent majority that you really don't want any part of...its the Daniel Boones Davy crocketts jim bowies...oh they are still here trust me. It is very interesting that given the state of the economy of the US, why are there so many supporters for Trump?

US economy is almost at full employment, strong GDP growth, unemployment is very low, etc. Why are there so many unhappy US people who wanted a change?

Most polls said that Trump will be defeated terribly. The markets did not factor in Trump's victory at all.

In the end, what happened? Trump gotten more than 270 electoral votes needed.

I totally agree that we are 'Outsider' and Trump did get over 270 electoral votes needed to win... why the people of USA voted for him.. I'll leave it to the experts to analyzed.

BUT even as an 'Outsider', the World would get affected by what's going on in the US... which president got elected will definitely affect the policy in trade, military, environment, etc, around the World. For example... if China economy slows down or crash, it affacts the whole World... if US really decide to ignore Climate Change... would that not affect the rest of the World and us too ??

What the US Media didn't do (fact check his statement) and the lies that was posted on non traditional media (Facebook/Reddit/Twitter) for the benefits of Trump, at least to me, shows how 'Facts' and 'Truth' seems no longer to matter in a 21st Century election... and that horrific me.

Again... even as an outsider... will the election of Trump likely to bring us a better more peaceful World... or more likely to create a World full of tension ?? Real War... Trade War... Environmental Destruction... only the next 4 years can tell...

But whatever happens.. it will affect ALL OF US... No matter you get to vote in US or not...

Media and Politics in US have the knack to manipulate the world openly. I can start off with the entertainment business eg WWF, remember? Then stuffs like Bush claim of WMDs in Iraq, etc.
Then there are sports 8n US where they claim the "World Series" where only the americans are playing..😁😁. Soccer world cup is more representative of the whole world.
I had americans I correspondence with years ago thinking singapore is a city in China.

Like some of my americans friends said, Trump got the votes not because he is competent. Those who vote him just want to sabo Clinton. They could care less about who is the Republican nominee and not necessarily they are Republican supporters.

Unlike US, Singapore ruling party makes sure not any Tom, Dick or Harry can pick to run Singapore.

I think American dominance can never be over as long as people like us still embrace western culture.

Let's wait another 20 years and revisit this again. China is considered still too new to have an influence on any country/region. Easier by force but not sustainable.
US has never show others they are the boss but more of a big brother or world police.
And Yes, China do have the $$$$$ moolah to give/borrow but in terms of respect and Big brother effect, not yet.

1 refurbished carrier is for show. To have a carrier group to escort that carrier group for mission cost a lot of money. Only Western countries have the financial backing.
