my friend is a professional sign maker and when he placed stickers for my van he used a spray of ten percent dilution dish wash soap. it makes the sticky part slippery until water dries .

you can try this since your surface is already detached from electronic parts.

That only works when you are applying the sticker/decal. Won't work when you are now trying to remove dried up residue.

I use a sticker remover from the Daiso 100yen shop in Japan to remove stickers residue. Its a small spray can and does not hurt the material thats being clean, not sure SIN Daiso sells it.

The super strong stain remover. I soaked it for 5mins then rinse

You go to any ntuc or giant. Ask for super or strong stain remover. Its either the blue or brown bottle
