Looks like I'm not the only one that has an issue with Fiona.com.sg... :bsmilie:

Finally, Perspective Models get to experience how it is like to have their pictures used by another modeling management and have their watermarks over the images.

Fiona.com.sg give the same explaination to me - the models submitted the images without informing that the images are copyrighted to the original photographer. Claimed that did not know that the images are copyrighted despite the fact there are already watermarks on the images.

i seriously wonder how many time you want me to explain.
models send me photos, and i will not know if the pohots are copy righted.
not knowing the photos are copy righted, wrong.
not being able to guess the photos are copy righted wrong.
i alredy send mass email to all models not to send me copy righted photos, still wrong?
i gladly remove any photos that are copy righted, once alerted by the photographers, still wrong?

now i seek permission from the photographers also wrong?

the photgraphers that i seek permission for me to keep these photos UNDER THE MODELS; PROFILE, and they agree then i dare to save the photos. if they keep quiet or i don't get response, i will never dare to save these photos, cos some photographers are so fierce, i scared leh.

and for others photographers who i have work with, they have no issues with me.
they know how i work, and i always insist of their water marks on the photos, cos i always say, all credits go to them. are you aware of this??

and i told them i might be adding another page in my website, under 'sponsor'.
and all these photographers can have their water mark there for free.
are you aware of this?

models are not contracted to agencies anymore.

and if the photographer wants to ask for payment, we can definately consider.

and i explain again, if the photographer give his permission, then i dare save it in my company website under the model's profile.

if there is no reply from the photographer, or he says no, i will not dare to save these photos.

the water marks are put by my web designer, and i said for the last time, i am not aware some photos are copy righted. there are hundreds of models, i don't have time to go through all the photos, and i stated clearly in my email signature, asking models not to send me copy righted photos. i sent mass emails to them too, i kept remining them over and over again not to send me photos that are copy righted.

i am running a business here, i wanna make money, not war.
IF I KNOW THE PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHTED, WHY WOULD I STILL WANT TO USE IT AND GET MYSELF INTO TROUBLES LIKE THIS? it just don't make sense, right?
