Most photographers' works are watermarked. If the watermarks are not obvious enough, I'm not sure what is. i tell you frankly, my business is doing so well, i don't have time to go look through the photos one by one. In the first place, if you're not sure whether the image is copyrighted, you should not have used them. If in doubt, ASK. Assuming does no good. Assume = Making an a** out of u n me. In the first place, you should have contracted your own photographers to shoot the models. oh, trust me, if i can, and i ahve the money to do professional shoots for the hundreds of models i would. and i say again, i did my part reminding, sending emails, I DID NOT ASSUME.

I have looked through your website. And honestly speaking, with all due respect, I have seen many agencies' websites, and your website is the ONLY one with only models' faces. No full or half body shots whatsoever. If you're really looking for business as a modelling agency, you should have at least studied business trends, industry practices and standards, etc. and now you want to teach me how to run my business? wonder how i survive 4 years in this line with no issues, till some photographers shoot me rude and war like emails to warn me of using their photos, and i still explained, apologised and removed the photos. my agenyc is not a big one like elite. so i have big capital i would pay for professional photo shoots for all the models. these things takes time to build. and my website is new, not even half ready yet. i have a lot more photos that are not even uploaded yet.

Those photographers whom you have previously worked with might not have problems with you. That doesn't mean ALL photographers out there would have no problems working with your business practices. if most photographers have no issue with me, since i talk politely to them, seek permission politely to them, inviting them for some events, so i know me and MOST of the photographers are the normal ones. the minority are the strange ones, when explanations, apologies, removal of photos doesn't pacify them. i wonder what can.

By pushing the blame to models who sent you copyrighted images irks me terribly. As a registered company, the onus is on YOU to double check the legitimacy of the usage of the images. when did i push the blame to the models? i simply said i have sent mass emails, i have told them repeatedly, i have added in all my email replies, reminding them not to send me photo that are copy righted. and IF they still send me photos that are copy righted, how am i suppose to have guess its copy righted? and when they send photos that are quite professionally taken, i asked and double check again if they have permission to use these photos. what else can i do? why don't you teach me? but to think of it, i knew i did my part, so no, i don't think i need you to teach me.

If you had just humbly accepted your mistakes and apologised earnestly, I'm sure many photographers would have spared you the "arrows". Probably most, if not all of them, would have just moved on. i did exactly what you said, go ask around. so if you don't knwo exactly what is going on, don't give me your lecture here. and there are no issues with the rest of the photographers, except a few who started the email like a war. and i still did the same, explained, apologised, and removed the photos. so what else now?

I would gladly appreciate it if you would just stop posting any more in this thread, lest it gets moved into the Kopitiam sub-forum. As it is, the matter has come far enough. Do not degenerate and jeopardise our thread any further with your irresponsible and unreasonable postings. MY IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNREASONABLE POSTING????????? WHEN ALL I DID WAS ASK PERMISSION IF I CAN SAVE PHOTOS OF TWO MODELS FROM SOME PHOTOGRAPHERS THAT ARE NOT YOU. WHO STARTED THIS OFF TOPIC POST HERE? GO READ CAREFULLY IS IT ME WHO STARTED NON RELATED TOPIC, OR SOMEONE ELSE? BE FAIR!

I must say is not wrong of FMTEM to ask for permission to use the picture, question of credibility is not the topic to be discussed "here" in this thread.

OK lastly, I do hope to all non SIN related posts can be deleted as not to make things worst (including Tangshooters').
