I did a search and found so many jokes ....

one nite in singapore, Batman ( "Bian Fu Xia") wearing casual clothes (without his batman costume) walks into a dark alley. den he saw a man punching another man in his stomach. Y did the man being punched keep calling out batman's name? Note: the man does not know or recognise batman at all.

Since I work at SMU, I have this info at hand (I'll be going but won't be organising an outing .. hehe!). I have a few friends who will be performing :bsmilie:

“Percussion & Band Performance by Bloco”
25 and 26 July 2008
9:45pm – 10:30pm
Singapore Management University Campus Green
(Free admission)

Friday night (25 July) - 100 percussionists and performers will play a pulsating fusion of folkloric street carnival music. The Mestre (Master) starts with a call and the Bloco (Block) responses, tight and loud, as cheerleading girls are thrown high up into the air.SMU Flare will be performing a cheer and stunt routine at 10:30pm.

Saturday night (26 July) – a 20-member ensemble will perform a fresh fusion of street percussion and urban hip-hop and club grooves.


“The Beatnik Picnic by Zouk”
25 and 26 July 2008
10:30pm – 2am
Singapore Management University Campus Green
(Free admission. Participants must be over 16 years of age)

Friday night (25 July) – Rock out with Van She from Sydney who will be playing new sounds from their upcoming album. Local Zouk jock Hong will also be spinning a special indie disco set.

Saturday night (26 July) – Featuring “Fresh”, an annual fixture held at Zouk celebrating the Hip Hop culture and its 4-pillars (break-dancing, MC-ing, turntablisim, and graffiti art). There will be live break-dance and graffiti competition where some of Singapore’s best will battle it out. Hosting the party is Masia One, a dynamic Singapore born-Toronto based emcee. Look out for turntable maestro DJ Shortkut (US), the special guest for the evening. SMU Eurhythmix will be performing at 11:30pm.

I will be going this friday night .....main purpose is to listen to the percusion band.......will bring cam along if able to shoot.
