Well fairy, i agree 50% only. Yes, a human's face tells a thousand stories but body language is also important. I give eg of a war torn country, or a famine struck state, the people faces show misery but without the body, u would not have totally have known what they went thru. I quote eg of cambodia landmine victims, the loss of limbs, i quote the eg of famine struck countries where ppl are thin like bamboos, their body tells also a lot of stories.

Haha... noe i getting emo here but just sharing what i have seen in some very laid back areas. I believed u also have seen alot of these when in the poorer states.

So applying the same thing to models, the face can only convey a part of the mood. If the shoot is about moods/facial expressions etc, yes, the face alone serves the purpose. But if u r doing a fashion/glamour shoot, the body must be able to bring out the attire/costume well.

Btw, its not easy to shoot facial shots too coz u have to find the best angle to capture the best of the face of the model. IMO, Hong Ling best angle is from the side 45 degrees. Head on does not flatter her. ;)
