something I just realise about shooting rainbow. DO NOT USE CPL ( circular polariser ).I was shooting this rainbow shot using a CPL filter, thinking that it will darken the sky and enhance the rainbow effect.. I was totally wrong...
By turning the CPL, the rainbow can actually disappear !!! even positioning the camera in portrait or landscape with a CPL, can result in the rainbow disappearing....
twisting the CPL actually makes the rainbow appears... or

something I just realise about shooting rainbow. DO NOT USE CPL ( circular polariser ).I was shooting this rainbow shot using a CPL filter, thinking that it will darken the sky and enhance the rainbow effect.. I was totally wrong...

What happen to TS 1st Anniversary Dinner?
Did I miss it?
Anyway, just an update.
Neo Tiew Road:
I was there this evening, the former HDB flats are still there, but are run down and now "flooded" with migrant workers. Just opposite the flats is a dormintory for the foreign workers, but some of them just pitch their "stay" at the vacant buildings. The buildings is perimeter fenced up, and looks like the foreign workers are the "security"
Lim Chu Kang Street 3:
The stretch of roads are flank with many fruit bearing trees, a lot of people were there plucking happily away at the "lansat" (if that's how it's been spelt). We can go there for a fruit fest, it's free anyway, but a lot of ants.
Kranji Dam:
Not much sceneary to capture other than the reservoir and the dam area, separation between sea water and fresh water. The dam building is ok to be framed I think. Birds quite plenty and wild dogs a few of them.

I was also thinking of organising macro in the afternoon let say 3-6pm then in the evening ,we go durian party. Any one games for this?

Hmm did u try turning the CPL?
twisting the CPL is exactly what I have done. When you twist the CPL, the rainbow will appear and disappear as you are rotating the CPL.
