Oh ya, the olympics equestrian contest is being held in HK...

HK heavy smog and pollution...cant see much landscape...if you stay on HK island, most days cant even see Kowloon and vice versa...

I kind of agree with DK, there is really not much picture to take in HK. I have to pass this one. Unless you guys are out there to BBB or EEE ( eat eat eat ) then it is different story.

Why not consider somewhere nearer like Bali or Cambolia ( Ang Kor Wah ), these are more for photography actually. , cheaper also.

I used to work in HK for 2 months many years ago. I know that place quite well actually. HK is not a place like Europe or Singapore. Photography is actually not acceptable in many areas, expecially the wet market places ( especially to old people ). I have heard many cases where photographers were actually chopped or chased with long vegetable knife across the streets. :sweat:

If you are shooting in HK, I would suggest that you say "hi" to the person, raise up your camera to the person ( let him see clearly ). If he turns his head around , or wave his hands and say NO, you better don't take the picture.

HK really not that good a place for photo unless you go out to the island and to the rural villages, maybe there you can find interesting subjects.

I am also keen to go to Cambodia or Vietnam, they said very good place for photographers, scenaries as well as people.
