You still keeping D70?....maybe you may consider mobe it into IR.

Back up camera. I am still having my OM10, range finder and somemore :bsmilie::bsmilie:

Another thing you can try is Sony Full Frame .... if you willing to wait till end of the year.

sony lens are expensive man!

WHEN IS TEACHER D's NEXT SHOOT??? :bsmilie: ;p

ya 5D price going downhill:dunno:
hmm i wonder if 77 can mount on canon....

sorry to back track a little bit... (this thread is moving too fast liao )

The answer is YES. 77mm limited ( Pentax ) is able to mount onto EOS body and use, no problem. The only thing you need to do is to remove the aperture lever if you are going to use this 77mm lens onto a full-frame body ( like 1D or 5D ). If you are going to use this 77mm with those 1.6factor body, then you need not remove the aperture lever.

I was poisoned last saturday also... by 1Dmk2. the iso noise at 800 is much much lower than my present body. but the cost is about double...

hmm, weather it is Pentax, Canon or Nikon. It really makes no difference to me, a camera is still a camera. Still the 3 things to control ( aperture, shutter and flim speed ). What is most important is still the composition of the shot , the composition is the thing that makes all the difference between the shots, not the camera body.

hope the information helps,
Kang

hmm so to remove the aperture i need to unscrew the mount 1st?
so its manual focus on canon body right?

I think more than that....a file is needed.

Then get an adaptor.

Yap, manual focus.
