There are a lot of "die-heart" Leica photographers out there wanting to use Leica lens, but Leica never produce DSLR, and these people have to use Canon bodies with an adapter to use the Leica lens.

Now Leica is coming out with DSLR.... Canon DSLR price will drop even further.

but the Leisa S2 is unlikely to use existing Leica lenses due to bigger sensor size...which is why Leica also announced several new Lenses for the S2...
